The Heidelberg Laureate Forum connects highly talented young researchers in mathematics and computer science with renowned scientists in their research fields. The Forum is designed as a platform for inspiration and creativity, fueled by the desire to inspire the next generation of scientists. The Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation recognizes that communication is the keystone to achieving scientific success and excellence. Therefore, the HLF creates the unique opportunity for profound interaction and exchange across generations and cultures.

The HLF is strongly supported by the award-granting institutions, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM; ACM A.M. Turing Award and ACM Prize in Computing), the International Mathematical Union (IMU; Fields Medal and Nevanlinna Prize), and the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (DNVA; Abel Prize). The Scientific Partners of the HLFF are the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) and Heidelberg University.

The Heidelberg Laureate Forum was established and is funded by the Klaus Tschira Stiftung, a German foundation which avidly promotes the awareness and development of the natural sciences, mathematics and computer science.
